Privacy Choices

Your cookie choices

This page lets you decide which optional cookies fixitforyou.org uses. Optional cookies are off until you turn them on, and you can change your mind here at any time. Your choice is saved in a small first-party cookie (ffy_consent) for 12 months.

  • Accept all turns on analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4, to understand how the site is used) and advertising cookies (Google Ads conversion tracking, to measure whether our ads lead to requests).
  • Reject all keeps both categories off. The site works exactly the same; only the strictly necessary cookies that protect forms and remember this choice remain.
  • Manage lets you turn each category on or off separately.

Global Privacy Control

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information and of targeted advertising. Advertising cookies stay off on that browser regardless of the buttons above, and we note the signal in your consent record. We do not sell personal information in any case.

Request access, correction, or deletion

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to see the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. We honor verified requests from anyone we serve. Use the form below to tell us:

  • what you would like us to do (access, correct, or delete);
  • the name, phone number, and, if applicable, service address you used with us; and
  • how you would like us to reply.

How verification works. Before we release or delete anything, we confirm that the request comes from you. We match the details you give us against the request or job on file, and we may send a one-time confirmation code to the phone number or email address we have for you. We only ask for what is needed to verify you. If someone submits a request on your behalf, we may ask for proof that you authorized them.

What happens next. We aim to respond within 45 days. If we need more time, or if we cannot fulfil part of your request (for example, because we must keep completed job records for tax purposes), we will explain why.
