Things people ask before they book.
How do you price a job?
Most repairs are priced from a state price book: a first-hour rate that includes the trip, then additional time in 15-minute steps, plus materials at cost. Standard tasks have ranges you see before you book. Anything unusual gets a written quote after a look.
Are your plumbers and electricians licensed?
Yes. Plumbing and electrical work is done only by technicians holding the license required in your state, and the license number is printed on your written quote. General repairs are done by trained, qualified technicians.
Is the online estimate binding?
No. It's an honest range based on what you told us. The technician confirms scope at the door and you approve the final price in writing before work starts. If the job turns out bigger, you decide.
Can someone come tonight?
Yes. Online requests are taken around the clock. On urgent calls the average time from confirmation to your door is 12–27 minutes; after you enter a ZIP we show the window for your address and a dispatcher confirms it before anyone leaves. After-hours rates apply between 8 p.m. and 7 a.m.
Do you bring tools and parts?
Technicians carry the standard tools for their trade and common consumables. Model-specific parts and materials you choose are itemized and approved by you first.
What about materials?
Basic fasteners and consumables are included. Everything else is listed at cost on the quote. You can also supply your own.
What if I need to cancel?
Cancel free any time before a technician is dispatched, straight from your status link. After dispatch a trip fee may apply as stated in your quote.
